This summer, we’re hosting several events in San Francisco; one of which is our Electronic Trading Challenge. The objective of the challenge, now in its third year, is to learn about trading by writing a bot to make efficient markets against other teams. You can learn more about it on our Events page.

The Electronic Trading Challenge is a 12-hour marathon where teams write a bot that can parse a custom exchange protocol, and a strategy to compete with others. We’ve seen people write their bots in all sorts of languages – Python, Rust, Javascript, OCaml and even bash.

Events will take place July 14-16. Any undergraduate student in the Bay Area is allowed to enter, but advanced registration is required. Please visit our Events page to see details and register.
