This April, Jane Street is excited to host our INSIGHT programme in London! We're inviting students who identify as women, transgender, and/or gender-expansive to spend four days in our office learning more about what we do and how we do it through a set of trading and programming classes and activities. Attendees will receive an in-depth look into the ways we use math and computer science across our firm to solve problems and foster collaborative thinking. Many participants will go on to be successful in our interview process and join us for our internship program.

Students will arrive in London on the evening of Monday, 13th April and will depart on the morning of Saturday, 18th April. Jane Street will cover all travel to and from London, including meals, housing, and a variety of social events.

INSIGHT has three different programme tracks students can apply for:

• Trading and Research — Through short lectures, data-based activities, and mock trading sessions, students will explore mathematical and financial concepts, including probability, market structure, arbitrage, and machine learning applications.
• Software engineering — students will work with full-time Jane Street developers to build experience with programming fundamentals, software design principles, and development practices that are used throughout the industry. The program will also have an emphasis on building up technical interviewing skills, all through talks, hands-on activities, and mock interviews.
• Strategy and Product — attendees will get a glimpse into the work that goes on in our Strategy and Product roles. Case studies and problem-solving exercises will introduce participants to how we optimize funding and financing, set up new trading flows, respond to regulatory inquiries, and generally manage the complex mechanics that underlie Jane Street's business.

The deadline to apply for this event is Sunday, 11th January 2026 at 11:59pm GMT. After the deadline, applicants moving onto the next round will receive an invitation to complete a puzzle or coding challenge based on which programme track you applied for.
