This December, Jane Street will host our SEE program in Hong Kong for students enrolled in Indian universities. Over three to six days, selected students will connect with Jane Street employees to learn about our firm and explore Hong Kong.
SEE offers two program tracks. Students may apply for either or both:
-
Trading Track: Attendees learn about probability, market structure, and arbitrage through lectures and mock trading games. These activities provide a broad overview of our work and offer opportunities for close interaction with our traders.
-
Software Engineering Track: Attendees learn from full-time Jane Street software engineers and explore computer science fundamentals. Students learn OCaml, Jane Street's primary programming language, and functional programming principles crucial to our business.
Selected students will arrive in and depart from Hong Kong according to their selected track dates. Jane Street covers all expenses: travel, meals, housing, and social events.
No finance background? No problem. If you're curious about our work and want to learn about a Jane Street career, apply.

Jane Street works differently. We are a quantitative trading firm active
on more than 200 trading venues across 45 countries. As a liquidity provider
and market maker, we help form the backbone of global markets. Our approach
is rooted in technology and rigorous quantitative analysis, but our success
is driven by our people.
We are always recruiting top students and we invest heavily in teaching and
training. The environment at Jane Street is open, informal, intellectual,
and fun. People grow into long careers at Jane Street because there are
always new and interesting problems to solve, systems to build, and theories
to test. More than twenty years after our founding, it still feels like
we're just getting started.
