Iterating on intelligence

Jane Street’s AI Assistants team held its second annual AI Hackathon, uniting developers in our New York office to build AI-powered tools that will help them at work. Many participants built RAG applications and plugins for use with Jane Street’s internal generative AI systems.

The hackathon concluded with a happy hour where bartenders served bespoke cocktails made by LLMs, followed by demos from participants and fun awards given out for the most innovative projects.
