Fraud and Impersonation Warnings

Jane Street does not offer any services to individual investors. Jane Street does not offer any mobile trading apps, online accounts, or any other service to individuals. Jane Street also does not solicit business via WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, LINE, Viber, or any other instant messaging or social media platform. Jane Street will not offer you direct investment services in cryptocurrency, pre-market trading, equities, or anything else. Jane Street does not have a partnership with Finology AMC, DeepQuant, or any other similarly named companies or groups.

Jane Street conducts business via @janestreet.com email addresses and on janestreet.com, and their subdomains (e.g. @jobs.janestreet.com).

Any attempts to engage in or move communication off of email channels by individuals or groups claiming Jane Street affiliation should be viewed with extreme skepticism. If you would like to verify the legitimacy of a communication, forward it or a screenshot and relevant context (including websites/urls) to verify@janestreet.com.

If you believe you have been the victim of fraud, contact your local FBI office via the Internet Crime Complaint Center at https://www.ic3.gov/ or local equivalent to report the fraud.

If you encounter instances of someone impersonating Jane Street, please report them to report-impersonation@janestreet.com, along with any screenshots, urls, email addresses, instant messaging handles, and/or LinkedIn profiles related to the occurrence.

Past fraudulent use of Jane Street’s brand, name, and imagery have included such things as false claims of escrow services, cryptocurrency scams, mobile apps purporting to let individuals invest or trade cryptocurrencies or securities, offers of AI related services, pre-market equities trading, and more. Past frauds have included cloned versions of Jane Street’s website, as well as iOS and Android apps. Frauds have utilized WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram chat groups, DMs, and other social media platforms.
