Congratulations on your offer and thanks again for interviewing with us! We’d love to welcome you to our office for a Visit Day and give you the opportunity to get familiar with our space and connect with a few Jane Street engineers over dessert. Jane Street will provide roundtrip travel and a hotel room for three nights (in hopes that you’ll take some time to explore NYC!).
As of now, we are offering the following dates to take part in a Visit Day:

If you’re unable to make any of the dates above and would potentially be able to attend a Visit Day on a later date, please let your recruiter know. For Friday dates, we’ll provide roundtrip travel within North America and a hotel room in NYC from Thursday evening to Sunday morning.
If you’re interested in attending a Visit Day, please fill out this form by the deadline specified by your recruiter and we’ll follow up to confirm a date and request your travel preferences. If you’re not interested in attending a Visit Day, please still let your recruiter know!
FAQs
What expenses will be covered? Jane Street will reimburse up to $75/day for costs that you incur during your stay, such as meals and incidental transportation (e.g. subway fare, Ubers taken within the city, etc.). Jane Street will take care of booking your hotel, travel (flights, trains, etc.), and a car service for you to/from the NYC-area airport. We will also reimburse additional transportation costs such as checked baggage fees and car services to/from your home airport/station on both ends of your trip and to/from the NYC-area station if you decide to travel by train. We’ll follow up with instructions for receiving reimbursement closer to your Visit Day.
Can I bring guests? Any travel and hotel nights that Jane Street books will not accommodate additional guests. Guests are also not permitted to visit Jane Street’s office.
When will my travel be booked? Your travel will be booked within a few days after you submit your travel preferences (in a separate form). Soon after, we’ll send you your itinerary. You should only follow up if you don’t hear back for over three business days. Once your travel is booked, your attendance is confirmed and we are unable to change your Visit Day date.
Can I extend the length of my trip? No, we will only book 4 days/3 nights for your visit.
Does my departure and return destination have to be the same? No, you may specify different destinations and will be given the opportunity to do so on the travel form you’ll receive once a date has been confirmed.
What’s the dress code? We follow a casual dress code at Jane Street!
