About the Position
We are looking to hire an experienced Power Analyst/Trader to help us price and execute trades in the power markets, develop models for cross-commodity correlations and relationships, simulate returns of various strategies in the power markets, and find ways to improve our existing desk strategies.
About You
- 5+ years of analyst experience in power markets
- Highly analytical thinker and proficient in probability and statistics
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Eager to learn, adaptive, responsible
- Coding skills are preferred

Base salary is $300,000. Base salary is only one part of Jane Street total compensation, which includes an annual discretionary bonus.
