An undefeated run

Season 16 of the Year-Round Jane Street NY Chess League has wrapped. 14 teams participated, and 140 Streeters played roughly 430 games, with a skill range spanning from beginner to National Master.

In the end, Seeking AlphaZero took the title with a 7–3 win in the finals, finishing the season completely undefeated — only the fifth team in league history to do so.

The League will take its usual summer hiatus, as we welcome our 2026 class of summer interns and switch to an individual format for the 13th Annual JS Summer Chess Tournament.
