Our new Singapore office

Earlier this month, our Singapore office officially moved into its new home at IOI Central Boulevard Towers. The space was designed around the intersection of mathematics and local Singaporean flavor, with details worth a closer look.

The clearest local touches are in the meeting rooms, each one named after a Singapore neighborhood. Acoustic panels render orchids, Singapore's national flower, as patterns of cells through Voronoi tessellation, a technique used to model everything from cell biology to wireless coverage maps. Other mathematical touches thrum throughout the space, bringing energy, dynamism, and a bit of mystery (what does that pattern on the wall mean?)

A final ingredient is the critical role of history and culture at Jane Street. Small gestures across the space, like a display of past hoodie designs and a photo wall, accentuate the deep connection of our newest office to our quarter-century-long story.

Of course, for the Jane Streeters already settling in, the most important Singaporean flavor comes from the food in the state-of-the-art cafe!
